NEW MUSIC
Excited to be nearing completion on a new recording of acoustic and rootsy songs with the working title of Golden Hour--featuring dobro, acoustic guitars, octave mandolin, fiddle, upright bass (Paul Eastburn) and backing vocals (Liz Pisco). Currently doing final mixes with BZ Lewis of Studio 132, Oakland, CA. The plan is to release one song per month as a series of singles on Spotify, Bandcamp, Youtube and other on-line platforms. Most of the songs are original compositions, except for two: Where's Cecile, co-written with Berlin-based poet/film maker Stacy Thunes, and Johnny Luther, a cover of a wonderful unrecorded train song by J.D. Hilsenbeck.
LIVE PERFORMANCE
A co-bill with great Americana duo Open Road (Lucia Comnes, fiddle and John Palmer, guitar) will take place at the Mill Valley Golf Club, Mill Valley, CA on Sunday afternoon December 17, 2023. Excited to share the stage with Lucia and John, who've just been in Nashville, Ireland, Scotland and the UK. Stay tuned for further details on what's sure to be a memorable afternoon of music.
